Gord Percy

BA, BPHE, PGM, PGA of Canada Head Professional and Director of Operations

Gord joined Carleton as head pro in 2007.

He has been a PGA of Canada Class A member since 1999 and has received numerous awards from the PGA of Canada’s Ottawa Zone, including consecutive Teacher of the Year titles (2004 and 2005), Assistant of the Year (2005) and Professional of the Year (2013).

Gord’s on-course accomplishments include winning the Ping Classic Championship (Phoenix) in 2002 and finishing as runner-up in the 2003 Cisco Systems Tour. He also set records at five Ottawa-area courses. He is a four-time member of the Ontario University Athletic Association all-star golf team and has twice served on the Ottawa Zone PGA of Canada Board of Directors.

Whether he is helping members hone their swing, advising members on the best clubs suited to their game, or consulting on the management of leagues and events, Gord has become an integral part of the Carleton family.

Dave McDonald

PGA of Canada Associate Professional

Dave studied professional golf management at Humber College where he was a member of the school’s varsity golf team. After moving Ottawa in 2004, Dave worked at a variety of local golf clubs before joining the Carleton professional staff as an associate professional in 2013.

Dave became a PGA of Canada Class “A” member in (year). He is a past winner of the TaylorMade Summer Open (2011) and was named PGA of Canada Ottawa Zone Assistant Professional of the Year in 2015. Later that same year, Dave won the PGA of Ottawa Zone Championship, which led to him competing in the PGA Championship of Canada in Victoria, BC in 2016.

In addition to his responsibilities in the pro shop, Dave also supervises Carleton’s junior program.
